23rd April 2011
Happy Easter everyone! I'm
enjoying having some lovely fresh yellows, zingy oranges and zesty greens in the choice of flowers at the moment...although I
can never be without a bit of pink! It's so wonderfully warm at the moment (except in the shop where the aircon
is doing a great job of keeping the flowers healthy) and I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, long may it continue.
Wedding season is gearing up again and we have some lovely ones booked in that I can't wait to start work on, please feel
free to call in for a quote or some ideas if you are planning a wedding yourself.
We are closing for a week next
week so have a good week to you all, and if you watch the royal wedding on Friday I hope you get into the swing of it with
a fancy hat or a little bit of bunting!!

3rd March 2011
Hello again, a blog from just me today
as Jessica is now officially off on Maternity leave! I won't be able to keep her away though and she'll be keeping
an eye on things until she returns I'm sure!! Can't wait to meet the new arrival, whenever it decides to appear.
On the subject of new arrivals, Spring is nearly here! Roll on those longer days and maybe even a bit of sun.
We have a lovely new card range in to celebrate all things growing - they are Seedlings cards and are beautifully illustrated
and each one includes a tiny packet of seeds. Come in and have a look, a card and a pressie in one! Take care for
now Sarah xxx
16th February 2011 Hope you all had a happy Valentine's
day!! It was a wonderful one for us, really busy and a lot of fun thanks to our lovely team of helpers (that's you
Jen, Jenny and Vicki!) who kept us going with coffee, chats and the odd Krispy Kreme donut! Business was good and I
hope you enjoyed anything you received. I must admit we are happy to see the back of the red roses and have now got
some beautiful springy colours and hot pinks to brighten up these gloomy days. So now we're heading towards another
lovely Mother's day with plants, pots and flowers, plenty of time to plan this year so let's make it a good one for
all our mums!

26th January 2011 Well, the weather isn't improving
but we are trying to bring out the sun with beautiful tulips, cheery narcissus and lovely daffodils! Pop along
and have a look at the new range of spring-y giftware too, lots of pretty things for the home and garden. Of course we also have
our usual range of fabulous flowers that will brighten up any home! Here's to some Spring sun soon, until then looks
like we're remaining in our wellies and singing in the rain... Sarah and Jessica xxx
8th January 2011 Happy New Year! Welcome back
everyone, and we hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. We were kept nice and busy planning a beautiful Winter
Wonderland wedding this week which was finished yesterday and looked amazing. We hope the lovely bride enjoyed her big
day and that the flowers added the perfect finishing touch for her. We are back at the shop now and are open as usual
so we look forward to seeing you soon Sarah and Jessica xxx
27th December 2010
We hope you all had a very
Merry Christmas! Can't quite believe it's all over already. We closed up on Christmas eve and will be
open again on Saturday 8th January - we're not resting for too long though as we have a lovely wedding to work on for
the 7th so will be busy getting everything ready for that, pictures to follow. We just wanted to say thank you so much
to everyone who stopped by on the run up to Christmas, we worked very hard but had an enormous amount of orders for flowers,
arrangements and wreaths which was really exciting to get our teeth into; we were very pleased so many people trusted us with
their business so a big thank you to all. We hope you had a warm and relaxing holiday and that we'll see you again
very soon in the new year. Here's to 2011... you know where to find us! Take care Sarah and Jessica xxx
16th November 2010 Wow, it's getting cold!
Good news for the flowers but not quite so much for our poor fingers! We are busy with the wreaths this week and they
are starting to take shape - we will have a stall at the Winslow Christmas Fayre selling our lovely natural wreaths so please
come along and have look, along with a warm mince pie and some mulled wine! It is on the Thursday 2nd December in the
evening, the shop will be open too so you can pop in and see our beautiful Christmas decorations and accessories - who can
resist a bit of sparkle at this time of year?! We will also have a stall at the TreeHouse Christmas bazaar on Saturday
4th Decemberin the Public Hall and would really appreciate your support here, 10% of all proceeds go to this lovely pre-school. We hope you are keeping warm and cozy and looking forward to the coming week xxx
7th November 2010 Well, here we are! Only 9 months
since we opened and we have finally worked out how to write a blog!! It's been a busy week, beginning to think
about Christmas wreath making which is a lot of work but also really good fun. We also have a lot of really beautiful
new giftware in our back room, all ready for Christmas! It is very glitzy and glamorous but if you can't be at Christmas
when can you? I hope if you pop in you'll love it as much as we do. We are taking orders for wreaths,
table centres or anything else you might like for Christmas so give us a call if you want to place one - 01296 715647. To end on a rather exciting note we did some corporate arrangements this week for an event that was attended by royalty!!
Can we now say we are florists by royal appointment?! xxx
